Information we process

Layton Tools processes consumer access-token identifiers, credit balances, usage records, moderation events, and content submitted to the Grammar Analyzer. Consumer secrets are stored only as secure hashes.

How information is used

Submitted text and requested tags are sent to OpenAI for moderation and analysis. We use the response to provide highlighting, record usage, calculate credits, and protect the service from abuse.

History and deletion

Successful analyses are stored in the history associated with the owner or connected token. Deleting an analysis removes it from visible history, while retaining its usage totals, deletion count, and administrative audit trace. Revoking a consumer token removes access credentials and associated private data while preserving aggregate completed-usage records for accounting.

Access and security

Consumer history is available only while its token is connected. Owner pages require the shared owner account and two-factor authentication. Do not share consumer tokens with people who should not access the same balance and history.

Administrative activity logs

Changes such as analysis creation, refinement, deletion, token management, and settings updates are recorded with the responsible owner or consumer-token identity and the time of the change.
